Sam Mehan has worked in film for over fifteen years producing short films, documentaries, commercials and music video clips under the name Banana Jam Productions.
Sam Mehan is the co-creator of the world renowned Newcastle Back Packers by the Beach, creating many adventure tours for Australia’s back packer crews.
Sam has co-organised events including large Dance Parties in New Zealand.

Didgeridoo's hand created by Sam Mehan from timbers collected with Bill Harney an Elder of the Wadarman People, Bloodwood and Wooli-butts, djalu (master yirdaki). Yidumduma. Bill Harney is recognised throughout the world as a respected artist. He is a Master Storyteller, Songman, Didjeridoo Player/Maker, Painter, and Writer. All his art forms have the deepest roots in the celebration of his Wardaman Aboriginal heritage and his unique ability to “walk in both worlds” and communicate the joy of his culture to a global audience.
Sam is an educator in Taree NSW Australia working for Tafe.
